"The objective of Shri Sobran Singh P.G. College is to provide education aimed at the mental, physical, and spiritual development of students. "श्री सोबरनसिंह पी.जी. कॉलेज का उद्देश्य छात्र/छात्राओं कों उनके मानसिक, शारीरिक तथा आत्मिक विकास की दृष्टि से शिक्षा प्रदान करना है और इस दृष्टि से इसे नगर के साथ-साथ ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों के विशेषकर पिछडे, निर्बल एवं दलित वर्गों के छात्रों को शिक्षा सम्बन्धी सुविधायें प्रदान करने का प्रयास होगा। यह संस्था पूर्णतः असाम्प्रदायिक एवं धर्म निरपेक्ष है तथा इसके द्वार जाति, रंग, धर्म आदि पर आधारित किसी प्रकार के भेदभाव के बिना समस्त ज्ञान पिपासुओं के लिए खुले हैं। यह संस्था अपने समस्त शिक्षार्थियों से संकीर्णता साम्प्रदायिकता और प्रदेशीय पूर्वाग्रहों से ऊपर उठकर सुन्दर, स्वस्थ और पूर्ण जीवन यापन, चरित्र निर्माण तथा सादा जीवन उच्च विचार के महामन्त्र को अपनाकर चलने की अपेक्षा करती है।
